Richard Newton started in 2013 as a consultant to NCF Raleigh and came on staff in 2014 as our Senior Gift Advisor.  Richard chose to work with NCF to use his 30 years trust advisory experience to help people consider and plan giving strategies to reach their charitable goals and, even more importantly, to deepen a family’s relationship with Jesus Christ.  Richard has been married to Elaine for almost 30 years and has two daughters, Liz and Emily. He attends and serves at Providence Baptist Church and is passionate about the role of the local church as God intended. When not with his family or church family, Richard can be found putting miles on his road bike. His favorite book is "Life on Mission" by Dustin Wilis and Aaron Coe. The verse that inspires Richard to think about everything in the right way, is Colossians 3:12 - Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience..”

Favorite Part of NCF: “The commitment to serving people that shows in how the staff cares about each other all the way to how we care about each detail in serving our givers.”
